Here are two new drawings I did in my sketchbook for a friend of mine, Raquel Alvarez. She and her friend Patricia Oassé have started up a fashion blog - enossabr.blogspot.com, and had the cool idea of using drawings rather than photographs to introduce themselves to readers of the blog.
I've been filling my sketchbook here in NYC with scenes from the city, drawings of friends and life drawings.
Some of the heads in this collage belong to Adam "Surge" Hart, my brother Jasper, his lovely girlfriend Cerelina and my great mate Les Robinson.

So in the end I did work it up, it's not quite finished but it's as close as I could get before I ran out of patience. I wanted it to be a sort of updated take on Frank Frazetta's "Death Dealer". I might have another go at the same theme sometime down the track.
Here is a storyboard frame from a recent campaign which is being screened Germany-wide. 4 TVC's were produced concerned with upgraded security for internet users. They can be viewed on youtube by searching for "saptv: Sicher im Netz".
This is a very quick rough for a personal piece I think might be fun to work up. A post-apocalyptic vision of road-warriors carving up the highway... or something like that. We'll see if I get around to it!

This is a quick drawing of Batman I did ages ago. I was in Berlin at the time working for Omgraphix on a documentary about the French comic artist Moebius and we were trying out various motion-capture techniques. It became an element we used numerous times in the film. In the end we were lucky enough to be able to use animated drawings by comic legends like Moebius, Mike Mignola, Jim Lee and Enki Bilal.
This is a piece of private work - a belated wedding present for my friends Matt and Claudia McIntosh-Bowman.
